Your use of this website is governed by the terms & conditions set forth below. By using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. You may not use this website and should exit it now if you do not agree with these terms of conditions. Calibre Cleaning may make changes to this website, including these terms and conditions, at any time without notice. You agree to be bound by the current version of these terms.
Cancellations
Happy House Cleaning Company requests cancellation one full business day before the scheduled appointment. All phone, chat or E-Mail cancellations or rescheduling with less than one full business day before the appointment will be charged at 50% of the appointment value. Anytime our cleaners are denied access to the property at the time of cleaning (due to a customer no-show or lock-out) you will be charged our minimum service charge of $100.
Payments
In contrast to many other cleaning companies we allow our customer to conveniently pay after the cleaning. Upon request, Happy House Cleaning Company will provide an invoice for the services done with bank details for payment. Payments must be made within 7 days from the invoice date unless otherwise communicated in writing.
Vacate Cleans / End of Lease Cleans (Bond Cleans) are excepted from this and have to be paid in full in advance. This is due to the nature of the cleaning and us being unable to contact customer after they vacate the premises. Our service guarantee applies in full for vacate cleans which means that we will re-attend the premises should there be anything missed as compared to the inclusions outlined in the quotation.
Flat Rate Pricing
At Happy House Cleaning Co we offer flat rate pricing. Prior to your first cleaning appointment we will provide you with a quotation outlining the items that will be included in the chosen cleaning package. We aim to quote as precise as possible however, we reserve the right to adjust the price if your home is larger, has copious amounts of pet hair or is messier than normal.
Please keep in mind that word of mouth is essential for local businesses like us. Therefore you can rest assured that we won't misuse our right to adjust pricing as we strive to provide the best customer experience possible.
Happy House Service Guarantee
We offer a guarantee on all of our work. This includes a free re-clean of the spots that might have been missed during your initial cleaning. A claim on the re-clean must be made within 48 hours of service. A claim may not be made if you were present during the cleaning and approved the work during the walk-around. A claim may also not be made if - for whatever reason - an hourly service with a set time limit was requested and the cleaners did not have enough time to complete the task.
Moving Heavy Furniture
Due to safety concerns, Happy House Cleaning Co will not allow it’s cleaners to move / lift heavy items or furniture. If you would like us to clean behind large appliances (e.g. stove, fridge) or furniture (e.g. couch), please move them prior to our arrival.
Arrival Times
We strive to be on time and over the years got really good at it! However, we reserve the right to arrive to your home within a 30 minute window of the time of booking. For example, if the booking time is 12:00 PM, we may arrive anytime between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM.
Regular / Recurring Cleans
At Happy House Cleaning Co we believe that the relationship with our customer should be as easy as possible. With no lock in contracts or other fine print. You get what you pay for and we aim to deliver the feeling for you to be part of our Happy House Family.
There is just one little thing:
Booking in a recurring clean (weekly, fortnightly or monthly) locks you in for a minimum of 3 cleans. This is due to the pricing of regular cleans. The more frequent you choose to get your home cleaned, the higher your discount on the services. If a recurring clean is cancelled (or altered to a less frequent schedule) without a mutually agreed upon reason by yourself and Happy House Cleaning Company before 3 cleans have been completed, a charge of the difference on the completed discounted cleans and pre-discounted cleans will be made. For your peace of mind - this will not extend to future cleans unless the cancellation is less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. (Example: You book in a weekly regular cleaning but decide to cancel the cleaning after the first appointment. In this case we will charge you the difference from your price compared to a one off cleaning for your property. You will not get charged for the two appointments that would make up the three 'locked' cleanings.)
